This program does not train or place service dogs directly. Instead, we help families understand their options, ask the right questions, identify reputable programs, and prepare for the lifelong responsibility of partnering with an assistance dog.

While Tethered By Grace does not train or place service dogs directly, we serve as a trusted guide for individuals and families navigating the assistance dog journey. We'll help you understand your options, ask the right questions, connect with ethical assistance dog organizations and trusted professionals, and prepare for the lifelong responsibility of partnering with an assistance dog. Our goal is to take the guesswork out of the process so you can focus on what matters most—your health, your family, and building a meaningful bond with the right dog. Together, we'll help create a partnership built on trust, compassion, and a lifetime of support.
Education
We help individuals understand the differences between service dogs, therapy dogs, emotional support animals and companion dogs.
Guidance
We help families explore whether an assistance dog is the right fit for their needs, lifestyle and long-term goals.

We work to connect families with ethical assistance dog organizations, qualified trainers, responsible breeders (when appropriate), and trusted community resources.
