Abbigail & Cannoli

Abbigail received the Alexa Memorial Scholarship to support her journey with her Golden Retriever puppy, Cannoli, as they work toward training and therapy dog certification.

After experiencing the sudden loss of her puppy, Charlie, Abbigail gained an even deeper appreciation for the comfort, joy, and connection dogs bring into our lives. Through this scholarship, she plans to use the funds toward Cannoli’s training, certification, supplies, and equipment as they prepare to become a therapy dog team.

Abbigail’s goal is to visit schools, hospitals, and community settings, sharing the healing presence dogs can offer while documenting her journey to help others learn about therapy work, training, and the human-animal bond.

Through her journey, Abbigail hopes to honor both Charlie and Alexa by spreading love, comfort, and positivity.
